I am a Canadian Armed Forces Veteran who uses art and photography to help manage disabilities I sustained during my military service. I have been drawing pictures as far as I can remember, even my Mom reminds me of when I used to draw on the hallway walls and my dresser with crayons.
Photography was a passion which started in around 2002 with the purchase of a used Canon AE-1. I soon upgraded my camera gear to include a medium format Hasselbald camera as well as developing my own negatives and prints.
A few years ago, I was re-introduced to drawing and painting. My wife took me to an art class with a local artist from Fort McMurray. I started painting and noticed how therapeutic it was for me and my disabilities. The majority of my paintings are created with inspiration that stems from some of my photographs. I created this studio to sell my paintings and photographs in order to help me continue my therapy and help me share my vision with the world.
Thank you for your support
I am surrounded both by natural beauty and interesting people. I use my Paintings and photographs to document the world and then print images with a focus on the magic I find in daily life. My pictures tell my stories.
As a Canadian Armed Forces veteran I believe in supporting programs that help provide resources to veterans. There are certain prints that will be sold with half the proceeds donated to injured veteran programs
